Techno TH381 - IP68 Micro Plug-and-Socket Connectors, Push-Pull, 2 and 3 Poles

Techno TH381 is a micro plug-and-socket connector for cable-to-cable connections: Ø 14 mm, push-pull locking and an IP66 / IP68 seal. Techno s.r.l., of Guanzate near Como in Italy, designs and makes waterproof electrical connectors - the Tee Tube joints, Tee Plug plug-and-socket connectors and Tee Box junction boxes - for outdoor lighting and installations exposed to water and dust.

Four items: 2- and 3-pole plugs and sockets. The 2-pole items come for 4.5-5.5 mm cable or, in the .L version, 5.4-7.9 mm. Each has its own page with its codes and price.

How it is installed

1. Slide the gland nut and seal over the cable, strip the sheath and connect the conductors to the screw terminals of the plug or socket, following the contact marking.
2. Assemble the connector and tighten the gland nut to the stated torque so the seal grips the cable sheath.
3. Mate the plug with its socket and lock the coupling. To disconnect, unlock the coupling and pull the halves apart.
