Techno TH391 Mini Tee Tube connectors join two cables end to end inside a compact Ø 23 mm IP68 body, on screw terminals with brass contacts. Techno s.r.l., of Guanzate near Como in Italy, designs and makes waterproof electrical connectors - the Tee Tube joints, Tee Plug plug-and-socket connectors and Tee Box junction boxes - for outdoor lighting and installations exposed to water and dust.

How to choose

Choose by the number of conductors and their size: 3-pole and 4-pole take 0.5-4.0 mm² at 32 A; 5-pole takes 0.25-1.5 mm² at 17.5 A; the 4-pole xDRY takes 0.5-1.5 mm² at 17.5 A and adds an anti-condensation barrier. Then choose the body by cable diameter: standard for 7-12 mm, long (.L) for 7-13.5 mm.

How it is installed

1. Slide the gland nuts and seals over the cable ends, then strip the sheath and the conductors.
2. Connect each conductor to its screw terminal, following the contact marking, and tighten the terminal screws to the stated torque.
3. Screw the glands onto the body and tighten the gland nuts to the stated torques, so the seals grip the cable sheaths and the joint is sealed to IP68.
