Techno TH405 Tee Plug - IP68 Bayonet Plug-and-Socket Connectors, 3 to 8 Poles

Techno TH405 Tee Plug is a bayonet-locking plug-and-socket connector for cable-to-cable connections, sealed to IP66 / IP68 and rated for 1,000 mating cycles. Techno s.r.l., of Guanzate near Como in Italy, designs and makes waterproof electrical connectors - the Tee Tube joints, Tee Plug plug-and-socket connectors and Tee Box junction boxes - for outdoor lighting and installations exposed to water and dust.

Pick the pole count: 3-pole for single-phase supplies (25 A, 0.5-2.5 mm²), 5- and 6-pole for three-phase or extra circuits (17.5 A, 0.5-1.5 mm²), 8-pole for control and signals (10 A, 0.25-1.0 mm²). A connection needs one plug and one socket - or a TH406 panel socket.

How it is installed

1. Slide the gland nut and seal over the cable, strip the sheath and connect the conductors to the screw terminals of the plug or socket, following the contact marking.
2. Assemble the connector and tighten the gland nut to the stated torque so the seal grips the cable sheath.
3. Mate the plug with its socket and lock the coupling. To disconnect, unlock the coupling and pull the halves apart.
