How to choose

Start from the platform. A 24 V light takes a D24-100 or, on the TL-500 and GD-500, a D24-500; the 70 V TL-600 takes a D70-1000. Then choose the charger by how many packs you need turned around at once - a single MC-1, a two-bay MC-2 or MC-2H, or a nine-bay TKC-9 case for a fleet. The AC drivers are a different job again: they run a light from mains so the battery is not being used at all.

Where these are used

Anywhere the lights go - hire fleets, maintenance depots, site stores and vehicle kits. A spare pack on charge is the cheapest way to turn a one-shift light into a two-shift light.

How the two battery platforms work

The range runs on two separate battery systems. The 24 V platform covers everything from the smallest pocket-sized tower up to the TL-500 mobile tower and the GD-500 device stand, and shares the D24-100 and D24-500 packs. The 70 V platform is the TL-600 alone, with its own D70-1000 pack. Batteries, chargers, AC drivers and solar controllers are specific to one platform and are not interchangeable, so check which platform a light is on before ordering an accessory for it.
