Frequently Asked Questions

What is the XVE550 for?

It is the mains adapter for the TL-600 that lights the tower and charges it at the same time. It is ordered as a single item, so it suits both a first purchase and a replacement.

Will the XVE550 work with my light?

It is a 70 V platform accessory, so it works with 70 V products only. The 24 V and 70 V platforms do not share batteries, chargers or drivers - check which platform your light is on before you order.

Does the XVE550 replace the battery?

No. It powers the light from mains so the battery is not being drained; the battery pack is still what makes the light portable when you unplug it.

Can I use a different AC driver?

No. Each driver is matched to its product - the X1-75 to the small portable lights, the X5-320 to the TL-500 and the XVE550 to the TL-600. They are not interchangeable.
