Polycab 25 mm LHSFT MMS Conduit Pipe (code CPI0425002) is a rigid conduit of the medium mechanical stress class from Polycab's LHSFT series to IS 9537 (Part 3): 25 mm outside diameter (tolerance -0.4 mm), at least 21.4 mm inside diameter, supplied in 3 m lengths packed 50 to a standard pack. The 25 mm size is the usual size for socket, power and air-conditioner circuits, which carry larger wires or more of them; the medium class is meant for conduit concealed in brick and block walls and in ceilings - the class most often specified for concealed wiring in homes, flats, offices and shops.

Polycab India Limited is India's largest manufacturer of wires and cables, with 27 manufacturing facilities, 4,300+ authorised distributors, 2,00,000+ retailers and an export presence in 84 countries (polycab.com, October 2026). Polycab is ISO 9001:2015 certified and makes its conduits to IS 9537 (Part 3) and its conduit fittings to IS 3419. Jai Enterprises supplies Polycab 25 mm LHSFT MMS conduit from Bhilai and Raipur all over Chhattisgarh - Bhilai, Raipur, Durg, Korba, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Jagdalpur, Kanker, Ambikapur and every other district - and across India; price on request.

Is this the right one for you?

Check these five things before you order:

  • The wires fit the bore: at least 21.4 mm inside diameter - check the number and size of wires against the conduit-capacity table you work to.
  • The conduit is concealed in walls or ceilings - the medium mechanical stress class is the usual choice for that.
  • Your drawings or tender name Polycab's LHSFT series (codes CPI0420002 to CPI0450002).
  • Matching Polycab 25 mm fittings - circular, deep and fan boxes, bends, tees, elbows, couplers and saddles - are listed below.
  • If the size does not fit: for fewer or smaller wires, 20 mm; for more room, 32 mm.

Why choose Polycab LHSFT MMS Conduit Pipe

  • LHSFT series - listed by Polycab next to its FRLS series, in the medium and heavy classes; we can obtain the series data sheet for your consultant
  • Medium Mechanical Stress class to IS 9537 (Part 3) - a thicker wall than the light class, for conduit concealed in brick and block walls and in ceilings
  • Same outside diameters as the FRLS series - so the same Polycab couplers, bends and boxes suit it
  • Five sizes, 20 to 50 mm outside diameter - one series for lighting, power, sub-mains and risers
  • 3 m lengths in standard packs - 75 lengths of 20 mm down to 15 lengths of 50 mm per pack, easy to count and order
  • Matching Polycab fittings to IS 3419 - circular and deep boxes, fan boxes, bends, tees, elbows, couplers, reducers and saddles

Using 25 mm conduit

Wires per conduit: a 25 mm conduit of the medium class has at least 21.4 mm of clear bore. Work out how many wires it can take from the conduit-capacity table you follow (for example the one in IS 732) or the consultant's drawings, and step up a size for long runs with several bends.

Joining and bending: join lengths with a Polycab 25 mm coupler (PVC solvent cement makes the joint permanent in concealed work); make bends with a bending spring of the right size or with Polycab bends and elbows.

Fixing: fix surface runs with saddles at regular spacing; in slabs, tie the conduit to the reinforcement and seal open ends before the concrete is poured; leave a draw wire in long runs.

Where it is used

  • The usual size for socket, power and air-conditioner circuits, which carry larger wires or more of them
  • Concealed wiring in brick and block walls in homes and flats
  • Ceiling and wall runs in offices, shops, hotels and schools
  • Projects whose drawings or tender name the Polycab LHSFT series

Frequently asked questions

What is the inside diameter of Polycab 25 mm LHSFT MMS conduit?

At least 21.4 mm - the IS 9537 Part 3 minimum for the medium class at 25 mm outside diameter (tolerance -0.4 mm), as printed in the Polycab catalogue. At 25 mm the three classes have a minimum bore of 22.1 mm (light), 21.4 mm (medium) and 20.6 mm (heavy).

How many lengths are in a pack of Polycab 25 mm LHSFT MMS conduit?

50 lengths of 3 m - 150 m per standard pack. Tell us the number of lengths or packs you need.

What is the product code of Polycab 25 mm LHSFT MMS conduit?

CPI0425002. Quote it on your purchase order or tender so the right series, class and size are supplied.

Should I use 20 mm or 25 mm conduit for power points?

Socket and power circuits use larger wires (2.5 to 4 sq mm) and often more of them, so 25 mm is the usual choice - it leaves room to draw the wires in without damage. 20 mm is normally kept for lighting.

LMS, MMS or HMS - which class should I choose?

Light (LMS) for surface runs and above false ceilings, medium (MMS) for conduit concealed in walls and ceilings, heavy (HMS) for slabs, floors and places where the conduit can be crushed or knocked. At 25 mm the minimum bore is 22.1 mm (light), 21.4 mm (medium) and 20.6 mm (heavy).
