Polycab PVC Fan Box (Standard) – Octagonal Ceiling-Fan Box for RCC Slabs, 20 and 25 mm Conduit, IS 3419

Polycab PVC Fan Box (Standard) is an octagonal PVC box that is cast into the RCC roof slab at a ceiling-fan point, with side entries for 20 or 25 mm conduit. The conduit runs in the slab connect to it, and the fan is wired and hung at the box once the ceiling is finished. The standard size suits most homes and offices; a large version gives more room.

• For 20 and 25 mm conduit - codes CFT1120001 and CFT1125001
• Made to IS 3419 - Polycab conduit fittings standard
• Standard size - the large fan box and the fan box with rod are the alternatives

Installation notes

Fix the fan box to the slab shuttering at the marked fan point before the reinforcement is closed, and connect the conduit runs to its entries.

Close the open face and any unused entries so concrete cannot get in during the pour, and check the box position before concreting.

Hang the fan only from a support designed for its weight, as the fan maker and the structural engineer specify.
