Polycab Non-ISI PP Circular Box Intersection (4 Way) – Polypropylene Junction Box for 20 and 25 mm Conduit

Polycab Non-ISI PP Circular Box - Intersection (4 Way) is a round polypropylene (PP) junction box, not ISI marked, with four entries in a cross and a lid, for 20 and 25 mm conduit. It is used at a point where two runs cross, or where one point feeds three others - a central ceiling point in a large room or a corridor junction. It is the non-ISI polypropylene version of the circular box, with the same entry layout and packs as the ISI box, for jobs where the specification does not call for ISI-marked fittings.

Polycab India Limited is India's largest manufacturer of wires and cables, with 27 manufacturing facilities, 4,300+ authorised distributors, 2,00,000+ retailers and an export presence in 84 countries (polycab.com, October 2026). Polycab is ISO 9001:2015 certified and makes its conduits to IS 9537 (Part 3) and its conduit fittings to IS 3419, from what its catalogue calls "the highest grade of waterproof and fire-resistant polymers". Jai Enterprises supplies Polycab conduit fittings from Bhilai and Raipur all over Chhattisgarh - Bhilai, Raipur, Durg, Korba, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Jagdalpur, Kanker, Ambikapur and every other district - and across India; price on request.

Is this the right one for you?

Check these three things before you order:

• Two runs cross here, or one point feeds three others.
• Your conduit is 20 or 25 mm outside diameter - the fitting size is the conduit size.
• The specification does not call for ISI-marked fittings.

Why choose the Polycab Non-ISI PP Circular Box - Intersection (4 Way)

• Four entries in a cross - the right layout for a point where two runs cross
• Removable lid - access for wiring, jointing and inspection
• Polypropylene body, same packs as the ISI box - an alternative where ISI marking is not specified
• Sized for 20 and 25 mm conduit - the entries take Polycab conduit of the same outside diameter
• Part of the full Polycab conduit system - pipes to IS 9537 Part 3 and matching boxes, bends, tees, elbows, couplers and saddles

Installation notes

Fix the box first, then cut the conduit to length and push it fully into the entry - the PP box is a push fit (PVC solvent cement does not bond polypropylene).

Set concealed boxes so the lid sits flush with the finished plaster or ceiling - joints must stay accessible, so never plaster over a lid.

Make joints inside the box with proper connectors, keep the earth continuous, and close the lid once the wiring is tested.

Where it is used

• Corridor junctions
• Distribution to several light points from one point

Frequently asked questions

Where is the PP intersection (4 way) circular box used?

At a point where two runs cross, or where one point feeds three others - a central ceiling point in a large room or a corridor junction. If only one branch leaves the run, the tee (3 way) box is enough.

Is there an ISI version of this box, and what is the difference?

Yes. This is the non-ISI version: polypropylene (PP), not ISI marked, and a push fit on the conduit (PVC solvent cement does not bond polypropylene). Polycab also makes the ISI PVC intersection (4 way) box to IS 3419, the Indian standard for fittings for rigid non-metallic conduits, with the same entry layout, sizes (20 and 25 mm) and packs; it can be solvent-cemented to PVC conduit and is the one to use where the specification, the consultant or the authority asks for ISI-marked fittings. If you wish, we will quote both so you can compare before you decide.

Which sizes and codes are available for the PP intersection (4 way)?

20 mm - CFT3620001; 25 mm - CFT3625001.

How is it packed?

20 mm - 36 per pack, 432 per transport pack; 25 mm - 21 per pack, 336 per transport pack. Tell us the number of pieces or packs you need.
