Polycab PVC Deep Circular Box Intersection (4 Way) – Deep Junction Box for 20, 25 and 32 mm Conduit, IS 3419

Polycab PVC Deep Circular Box - Intersection (4 Way) is a deep round PVC junction box with four entries in a cross and a screw-on lid, for 20, 25 and 32 mm conduit. It is used at a point where two runs cross, or where one point feeds three others - a central ceiling point in a large room or a corridor junction. Its body is much taller than the standard circular box, which gives more room for wire loops and joints and suits boxes set into RCC slabs or deep in walls; it is also made for 32 mm conduit.

Polycab India Limited is India's largest manufacturer of wires and cables, with 27 manufacturing facilities, 4,300+ authorised distributors, 2,00,000+ retailers and an export presence in 84 countries (polycab.com, October 2026). Polycab is ISO 9001:2015 certified and makes its conduits to IS 9537 (Part 3) and its conduit fittings to IS 3419, from what its catalogue calls "the highest grade of waterproof and fire-resistant polymers". Jai Enterprises supplies Polycab conduit fittings from Bhilai and Raipur all over Chhattisgarh - Bhilai, Raipur, Durg, Korba, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Jagdalpur, Kanker, Ambikapur and every other district - and across India; price on request.

Is this the right one for you?

Check these four things before you order:

• Two runs cross here, or one point feeds three others.
• The box sits in an RCC slab or deep in a wall, or needs extra room for joints.
• Your conduit is 20, 25 or 32 mm outside diameter - the fitting size is the conduit size.
• Fittings to IS 3419 are wanted or specified.

Why choose the Polycab PVC Deep Circular Box - Intersection (4 Way)

• Four entries in a cross - the right layout for a point where two runs cross
• Screw-on round lid - comes off for wiring, jointing and inspection; spare lids are listed separately
• Deep body - more room for wire loops and joints, and the depth needed in slabs and thick plaster
• Sized for 20, 25 and 32 mm conduit - the entries take Polycab conduit of the same outside diameter
• Part of the full Polycab conduit system - pipes to IS 9537 Part 3 and matching boxes, bends, tees, elbows, couplers and saddles

Installation notes

Fix the box first, then cut the conduit to length and push it fully into the entry; in concealed work the joint is usually made permanent with PVC solvent cement.

Set concealed boxes so the lid sits flush with the finished plaster or ceiling - joints must stay accessible, so never plaster over a lid.

Make joints inside the box with proper connectors, keep the earth continuous, and close the lid once the wiring is tested.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the deep intersection (4 way) circular box used?

At a point where two runs cross, or where one point feeds three others - a central ceiling point in a large room or a corridor junction. If only one branch leaves the run, the tee (3 way) box is enough.

What is the difference between a deep and a standard circular box?

The deep box has a much taller body, so there is more room for wire loops and joints and the box can sit deeper in an RCC slab or thick plaster. The deep range is also made for 32 mm conduit; the standard circular boxes are for 20 and 25 mm.

Which sizes and codes are available for the deep intersection (4 way)?

20 mm - CFT1020001; 25 mm - CFT1025001; 32 mm - CFT3632001.

How is it packed?

20 mm - 16 per pack, 224 per transport pack; 25 mm - 15 per pack, 210 per transport pack; 32 mm - 12 per pack, 168 per transport pack. Tell us the number of pieces or packs you need.
