Why choose the Polycab Aglow LED Street Light

• Lumen efficacy 90 lm/W (3000 K warm white version); 95 lm/W (4000 K neutral white version); 100 lm/W (6500 K cool white version) - more usable light on the road than the sodium or metal-halide fitting it replaces, with better colour rendering and a comparable or longer life
• Surge protection of 4 kV for Indian supply conditions
• 25,000 burning hours
• Colour rendering index above 80, so colours look natural
• Power factor above 0.9, so it draws little reactive current
• IP65 rated - sealed against rain and dust
• Polycab item code and MRP for every variant - LP1601024CW to LP1601050WW (9 codes)

How to choose and fit it

Wattage. Polycab lists this LED street light in 24, 36 or 50 W. 24 W suits a narrow lane or compound road on a 5 or 6 m high pole, 36 W a society road and 50 W a wider road or a higher pole; ask us for a layout.

Colour. 3000 K warm white gives a soft, yellowish light that suits gardens, gates, resorts and facades; 4000 K neutral white is a balanced white for campuses and parking; 6500 K cool white looks the brightest and is the usual choice for roads, yards and security lighting.

Fitting. Slide the fitting onto a pole or bracket arm of the listed diameter, secure it as the fitting provides (usually grub screws), connect through a weatherproof junction and aim the fitting along the road. Mounting height and spacing decide the lux on the road; ask us for a layout for a given road width.

Ordering. Quote the item code from the variant rows above (for example LP1601024WW) with the quantity; mixed lots of wattages and colours are fine.
