How to choose and fit it

Channels. Count the DMX channels: an RGB fitting usually takes 3 channels and an RGBW fitting 4 (per pixel or segment for pixel fittings). Pick a controller with enough channels, plus room to grow. Each DMX output carries one universe of up to 512 channels, so plan the fittings per output as well as in total; a splitter repeats an output, it does not add channels.

Zones and scenes. SLESA-U11 gives 5 zones with 10 direct scene buttons; the DINA models give 20 zones and up to 2,000 scenes for large facades.

Outputs. Polycab lists DALI, Art-Net, eDMX and pixel outputs for both DINA models, but names 2 DALI and 2 pixel screw outputs only on the DINA-DR1 (for the DINA-SR1 it names six XLR3 DMX outputs and an audio jack) and no network port for Art-Net / eDMX on either. If you need DALI, pixel or network control, tell us and we will confirm how the fittings connect before you order.

Networking. Daisy-chain the fittings without Y-splits, keep each DMX line to about 32 fittings and about 300 m long (use a DMX splitter beyond that or to branch), use shielded DMX cable and fit a 120-ohm terminator at the end of each line. If you will address or monitor the fittings over RDM, every splitter in the line must pass RDM - tell us and we will confirm.

Design. Send us the facade layout and the number and type of fittings, and we will propose the controller and wiring. Install the controller indoors or in a weatherproof, ventilated panel.
