HEX nickel-plated brass IP68 cable glands are compact glands for unarmoured PVC, XLPE and other synthetic cables. A "camera-shutter" clamping principle protects the cable, a neoprene seal and O-ring keep the entry fluid-tight to IP68, and a self-extinguishing polyamide insert gives superior strain relief and full insulation. They come in metric (M12–M75) and PG (PG7–PG48) threads. Made by HEX, the brand of Brass Copper & Alloy (I) Ltd., Mumbai — an ISO 9001 company whose products are tested by CPRI (India), UL (USA), KEMA (Netherlands) and SIRIM (Malaysia).
HEX also makes nickel-plated brass PG-thread glands for unarmoured braided cables (HPG series) for indoor and outdoor fittings.

Frequently asked questions
What does IP68 mean?
Dust-tight and protected against continuous immersion in water — the highest ingress rating for a cable gland.
Metric or PG thread?
Match the thread in your enclosure: metric M12–M75 or PG7–PG48. Both are made to IEC 423, IEC 423A and EN 60423.
Which cables are they for?
Unarmoured PVC, XLPE and other synthetic cables — for example an M20 gland takes cables of 8–13 mm.
What temperature can they take?
-20 to +100 °C continuously; the insert, seal and O-ring are self-extinguishing.
