Raytech Sky Plast is a mouldable two-component insulating rubber paste. Knead the two parts together, wrap or mould the paste round the part, and in under 5 minutes it becomes a self-extinguishing layer of rubber with high dielectric strength. Raytech is an Italian manufacturer that specialises in gel-based insulation for electrical connections: pre-filled gel boxes and joints that are ready to use straight from the pack, and insulating gels and rubbers for filling joints, boxes and enclosures.

It covers, protects, insulates, finishes and fire-proofs electrical and non-electrical parts, and can replace taping, heat-shrinking and resin finishes. Two sizes, each with its own page and price.

How to use it

1. Take equal amounts of the two components (1:1).
2. Knead them together for no more than 2 minutes, until the colour is uniform.
3. Wrap or mould the paste round the part: it cross-links in under 5 minutes at room temperature into a layer of insulating rubber.
