HEX snap-on terminals are push-on quick-disconnect connectors: a female receptacle slides onto a male tab to make a connection that can be separated without tools. They are E-copper, electro-tinned, from 1.5 to 6 sq mm, supplied bare or insulated with colour-coded sleeves. Made by HEX, the brand of Brass Copper & Alloy (I) Ltd., Mumbai — an ISO 9001 company whose products are tested by CPRI (India), UL (USA), KEMA (Netherlands) and SIRIM (Malaysia).
