Raytech Magic Power Gel is a two-component insulating gel in one twin-compartment bottle. It is very sticky and strongly self-amalgamating: cast it into a casing, or once cured press it round a connection by hand - even on walls and ceilings - and keep what is left for the next job. Raytech is an Italian manufacturer that specialises in gel-based insulation for electrical connections: pre-filled gel boxes and joints that are ready to use straight from the pack, and insulating gels and rubbers for filling joints, boxes and enclosures.
It suits power, telecom and signalling connections, gives IP68 in a suitable casing, cross-links in about 15 minutes at 25 °C and stays re-enterable. Three sizes, each with its own page and price.

Prices are per bottle; the price per 100 ml is shown for comparison.
- Magic Power Gel 250 - 250 ml, 1 single two-component bottle (about Rs 1,298 per 100 ml) - Rs 3,245 per bottle
- Magic Power Gel 500 - 500 ml, 1 single two-component bottle, 1 jug and 1 wooden spatula (about Rs 1,272 per 100 ml) - Rs 6,359 per bottle
- Magic Power Gel 1000 - 1000 ml, 1 single two-component bottle, 1 jug and 1 wooden spatula (about Rs 1,172 per 100 ml) - Rs 11,723 per bottle
How to choose the pack
Take 250 ml for occasional jobs and a toolbox; 500 ml or 1000 ml for regular work - both come with a jug and a wooden spatula, and the 1 litre bottle works out cheapest per litre. Because left-over gel can be kept, a larger bottle is not wasted.

Why choose Magic Power Gel
- Very sticky - exceptional sealing in any condition, better resistance to pressure, effective even on walls and ceilings
- Self-amalgamating - once cross-linked it bonds to itself into one compact mass, so it can be applied in layers
- Zero waste - left-over gel keeps its performance and can be used on the next job
- One compact bottle - both components in a twin-compartment bottle
- Re-usable and re-enterable, even after long service
- For power, telecom and signalling connections
- Safe - not classified as hazardous under CLP; no shelf life
How to use it
- Dispense and mix the two components from the twin-compartment bottle (the 500 and 1000 ml packs include a jug and a wooden spatula).
- Cast it into the casing around the connection, or let it cross-link (about 15 minutes at 25 °C) and press it round the connection by hand - also on walls and ceilings.
- Keep any left-over gel for the next job; to re-enter the connection later, open the casing and lift the gel away.
Where it is used
- Junction boxes and joint shells on power cables
- Telecom and signalling connections
- Connections on walls and ceilings, where a pourable gel would run
- Maintenance work where the same gel is re-used on the next job
