Raytech Rapid Joint LS - IPX8 Gel-Filled Straight Joints for Multi-Core Control Cable

Raytech Rapid Joint LS is the Rapid Joint gel pre-filled straight joint made for multi-core signalling and control cables. The gel-filled half-shells close radially around the connected conductors and seal the joint to IPX8. Raytech is an Italian manufacturer that specialises in gel-based insulation for electrical connections: pre-filled gel boxes and joints that are ready to use straight from the pack, and insulating gels and rubbers for filling joints, boxes and enclosures.

Three sizes cover cables of 5 to 100 cores with 1.5 or 2.5 mm² conductors. Each size has its own page and price.

How to choose the size

Choose by the core count and the conductor size. LS1 takes 1.5 mm² cable with 5, 7, 10, 12, 16 or 19 cores (2.5 mm²: 5 to 12 cores). LS2 takes 1.5 mm² cable with 16 to 40 cores (2.5 mm²: 10 to 24 cores). LS3 takes 19 to 100 cores at either size.
