HEX Copper T-Connectors & Cross Connectors – 1.5 to 240 sq mm

HEX copper T-connectors (HTCW) and cross connectors (HCCW) are tubular crimp connectors for branch (tee) and four-way joints. They are made in E-copper with a copper finish, tinned on request, and also in aluminium on request, from 1.5 to 240 sq mm. Made by HEX, the brand of Brass Copper & Alloy (I) Ltd., Mumbai — an ISO 9001 company whose products are tested by CPRI (India), UL (USA), KEMA (Netherlands) and SIRIM (Malaysia).

How tee and cross connectors are used

Each conductor is stripped and pushed into its own tubular branch, and each branch is crimped separately with a tool and die for that size. A T-connector joins three conductors (a run and a branch); a cross connector joins four, making it the natural fitting where two earth conductors cross in a grid.
