Is this the right one for you?

Check these four things before you order:

• You know the fibre count (for example 6, 12, 24, 48 or more fibres).
• You know the fibre type - single-mode for long links, multimode for short links inside buildings.
• You know how the cable will be laid: duct, direct burial, aerial (self-supporting) or indoor.
• You know whether the route needs armour against rodents and crushing.

How to choose and specify it

What to tell us. The catalogue does not list Polycab's OFC constructions, so we confirm the cable for your project. Send the fibre count, the fibre type (single-mode, for example ITU-T G.652.D, or multimode such as OM3 / OM4), the installation (duct, buried, aerial or indoor), any armour and the drum lengths.

Accessories. Plan joint closures, termination boxes, patch panels and patch cords with the cable; splicing and testing should be done by trained fibre technicians.

The catalogue does not list them. Tell us the fibre count, single-mode or multimode, and the installation type, and we confirm the matching Polycab cable.

Is armoured OFC available?
