Rs 500 - 1,061
The Raytech Gel Box Line is a simple way to take indoor connectors outdoors: transparent boxes, pre-filled with gel, that seal and insulate an everyday wire connection. The connector you already use goes into the box, the lid closes, and the gel seals it to IPX8. Raytech is an Italian manufacturer that specialises in gel-based insulation for electrical connections: pre-filled gel boxes and joints that are ready to use straight from the pack, and insulating gels and rubbers for filling joints, boxes and enclosures.
Three sizes are listed here - Isaac, Pascal and Kelvin - shaped around the most common connectors, from 2-way 2.5 mm² connectors up to 3 x 6 mm². Each size has its own page with the connectors it takes and its price.

- Transparent - the connection stays visible without opening the box
- Ready to use - nothing to mix or pour; close the lid and the gel seals the connection
- IPX8 - fully submersible and suitable for underground use
- Re-enterable - open, rework and close again; the gel stays soft
- Safe gel with no shelf life - not classified as hazardous under CLP, halogen-free and UV resistant
- Tidies household installations as well as civil and industrial connections
How to fit it
- Choose the box by the connector - each size lists the connectors it is designed for.
- Make the connection and lay it in the open box, with the wires leaving through the entrances.
