Rs 3,439 - 92,144

Raytech Ray Gel is a two-component silicone gel that insulates and seals telephone and intercom connections and protects LEDs, displays and printed circuit boards. The transparent (T) version listed here stays clear, so what it protects stays visible. Raytech is an Italian manufacturer that specialises in gel-based insulation for electrical connections: pre-filled gel boxes and joints that are ready to use straight from the pack, and insulating gels and rubbers for filling joints, boxes and enclosures.

It is very fluid, cross-links fast, protects low-current contacts from oxidation and does not crack in permanently cold joints. Three pack sizes, each with its own page and price.

Why choose Ray Gel

  • Transparent - excellent transparency that does not go opaque, so connections and components stay visible
  • Quick cross-linking - fast-curing silicone, quicker still in warm conditions
  • Antioxidant protection - low-current telecom contacts do not lose signal
  • High fluidity - fills the spaces between cable cores during casting
  • Low-temperature resistant - does not crack in permanently cold joints
  • Re-enterable, non-toxic, no shelf life

How to use it

  1. Make the connection, or mount the board or LED module, inside a suitable casing.
  2. Mix the two components and pour so the gel covers the connections or components.
