When a cable of one size must be joined to a cable of another, a HEX tinned copper reducing link (HCRL) does it in a single fitting: each end has a barrel sized for its own conductor. The range covers joints from 6 to 4 sq mm up to 630 to 500 sq mm, in electro-tinned E-copper.
