How to choose and fit it

Length and wattage. Choose the 4 ft profile at 28 W for cabins, corridors and lower light levels and at 36 W where the room needs more light; the 8 ft, 2 x 28 W unit lights long desks and open offices with fewer joints. Longer continuous lines are built from 4 ft and 8 ft units joined end to end.

Layout. Run the lines along the desks or the length of the room so the light falls evenly across the work surfaces. The recessed profile joins in straight end-to-end runs with EoE connectors; ask us if your layout needs corners or branches, and share your drawing so we can work out the units and connectors.

Colour. 4000 K neutral white is a balanced white for offices, meeting rooms and banks; 5700 K cool white is a crisp white for open-plan work areas and service areas.

Fitting. Cut the ceiling opening to the size given with the fitting, connect the driver and push the profile up until the spring-loaded clamps hold it flush; the driver can be reached later without disturbing the alignment. The profile runs on 220 to 240 V AC. Isolate the supply before work; a qualified electrician should install and earth the fitting.
