How to choose and fit it

Layout. On an open ceiling, roughly one 36 W troffer for every 4 to 5 square metres of floor gives about 350 to 450 lux in a typical office; a room with fine work or a higher ceiling needs closer spacing. We confirm the number with a lighting calculation - send us the room size and ceiling height.

Colour. 5700 K cool white is a crisp white for open-plan work areas and service areas. For offices, meeting rooms and banks, the 4000 K neutral white version (to order) is the balanced choice.

Size. Polycab's drawing shows it as 600 x 600 mm (±5 mm).

Fitting. Mark the fixing points, fix the troffer to the ceiling with the accessories supplied and take the supply into it; the low-profile housing sits close to the ceiling. It runs on 220 to 240 V AC. Isolate the supply before work; a qualified electrician should install and earth the fitting.
