How to choose and fit it

Wattage. As a rough guide, 60 to 100 W lights building fronts, gates and small yards from heights of about 6 to 9 m; 120 to 200 W lights larger yards, sites and parking areas from heights of about 9 to 12 m. On high masts, the number and wattage of floods depend on the mast height and the area - see "Which series" below. Send us the area and the mounting or mast height for a layout.

Which series. Eco - a wide-beam flood with surge protection; Estable - secondary lens optics and toughened glass, up to 400 W; this page is the Citibeam - lens optics with the beam angle customised to the application and a separate driver compartment, listed by Polycab for high masts. The Citibeam and the Estable (not the Eco) can be supplied with a CISPR 15 EMI / EMC driver. For stadiums and sports grounds, the Estable LED Sports Flood Light goes up to 1,800 W.

Fitting. Fix the cradle to the wall, pole or mast, aim the flood light and lock the angle, connect it through a weatherproof junction box and earth it - Polycab asks for proper earthing at each flood light. It runs on 220 to 240 V AC. Isolate the supply before work; a qualified electrician should install it.
