How to choose and fit it

Wattage. As a rough guide, 25 to 45 W suits lanes, campus and township roads on poles about 5 to 7 m high; 60 to 90 W city and service roads on poles about 7 to 9 m high; 120 to 150 W main roads on poles about 9 to 12 m high; and 200 to 300 W highways and expressways on poles of about 12 m and more. Pole spacing is usually about three times the mounting height on main roads and highways, and up to about four times on minor roads; send us the road width, pole height and spacing for a layout. This series covers 45 to 250 W.

Which series. Citishine Pro - 150, 200, 250 and 300 W, 135 lm/W or more; Citishine - 90 to 300 W, 120 lm/W or more; Citirays V3 Neo - 72, 90, 120 and 150 W, 120 lm/W or more; Citirays V3 - 25 to 150 W, 120 lm/W or more. All five are 5700 K, IP66 and IK08 and fit 55 to 60 mm diameter arms. Among the Citirays series: the C4 has a secondary lens with toughened-glass optics, the V3 Neo dual optics, and the V3 a dusk-to-dawn sensor option on 60 to 150 W. At 72 to 150 W Polycab prints the same sizes for the V3 and V3 Neo, although the housings differ (and so do the printed weights at 90 to 150 W) - we confirm the sizes before you order.

Fitting. Slide the light onto the bracket arm, tighten the clamp, set it level (or at the tilt in your lighting design) and square to the road, and connect it through the pole's junction (looping) box, with a fuse or MCB for each light. Earth every pole - Polycab asks for proper earthing at each street light, and an unearthed installation can void the warranty. It runs on 220 to 240 V AC. Isolate the supply before work; a qualified electrician should install it.
