HEX four-hole cable terminal ends are built for the largest power cables — 400 to 1000 sq mm. A four-hole palm spreads the clamping force over the busbar, stops rotation and keeps contact resistance low at high currents. They are E-copper, electro-tinned, with 10.5 or 12.5 mm holes. Made by HEX, the brand of Brass Copper & Alloy (I) Ltd., Mumbai — an ISO 9001 company whose products are tested by CPRI (India), UL (USA), KEMA (Netherlands) and SIRIM (Malaysia).

Why a four-hole lug
- Four bolts, lower contact resistance on large busbar joints.
- No rotation under heavy cable weight or vibration.
- Sizes to 1000 sq mm.
- Two hole diameters to match the bolts.

Which HEX copper lug do I need?
- Standard UL-listed tubular lugs — the general-purpose copper lug, 1.5–1000 mm², with inspection hole.
- Economy range — the same job for 35–1000 mm² where a lighter lug is acceptable.
- Bell mouth — flared entry for fast insertion of flexible or fine-stranded conductors.
- Without inspection hole — sealed barrel for damp or outdoor locations.
- Long barrel, 2-hole or 4-hole (this page) — longer crimp or anti-rotation palm for heavy terminations.
- 33 kV terminals — for HV cable terminations.
